Straightforward:  what's the best plugs and leads?  OEM?

Fuel filter: is it an easy change?

What mods have you got?

Generally speaking if you are a GTI or ED30 without a map or stage 1, then simply use OEM Bosch plugs.

If you are stage 2 or 2+ then either Denso Iridium IK24 or NGK Iridiums. These are "cooler" plugs than OEM and help reduce the possibility of detonation and overheating.

Absolutely standard but at 45k I'm pretty sure they'll never have been changed.  OEM it is.

Fuel filter anyone?

Fuel filter is relatively easy.

It is located on the right-side of the car just in front of the fuel tank.

Just remember to fit it facing in the right direction
