Title: Order of products...calling cleaning gurus

Picking up a golf tomorrow, would like to know what order to use these products I have.

  • Auto Glym Glass Polish
  • Auto Glym Super Resin Polish
  • Auto Glym Bodywork Shampoo Conditioner
  • Hot/Warm Water :P

Your water doesnt need to be hot  :wink:
Plus IMO I would ditch most of the AG stuff, super resin is ok but there are some much better products around for similar money :afro:

but it didnt include all i have, just wanted a more preice answer

e.g. Use product A then B, let B dry for X mins then use product C follwed by D....

  • B - Auto Glym Glass Polish
  • C - Auto Glym Super Resin Polish
  • D - Auto Glym Bodywork Shampoo Conditioner
  • E - Hot/Warm Water :P

you only essentially have three products there as A & C do the same job and E is not a product

ditch A
take cap off D and pour small amount into bucket [F]
mix D with E in F
use wash mitt [G] in F and then apply to panels on car top down a panel at a time
rinse G in rinse bucket [H] and then reapply G in F then onto next car panel
once car is washed hose off with clean E (don't use contents of F or H)
dry using waffle weave or microfibre drying towel [I(http://)]
once panels are clean and dried you can then apply C
use a clean soft cotton cloth or applicator [J] and using a small of amount C apply to car a section at a time and polish into paintwork
let dry to haze and polish off using a clean microfibre [K]
apply small amount of B with J to windows inside and out and remove using K
preferably seal with a sealant [L] and/or wax [M]

do this you wont go far wrong, I use the FG and SRP all the time.. Add a sealant or wax thou to you list
