Title: cam rattle?

now that the sun has come out i decided it was time to dust off the 16v i rebuilt the engine last year due to a broken woodruff key killing the crank. i have made sure i start it every so often to keep it running well. The problem i have is when the car is ticking over it sounds find but if you rev it to say 3000 rpm it seems to have a cam rattle? i have changed the cams and the lifters but no joy there was no rattle before i did the crank. would the touruqe settings on the cam caps cause this if they were to tight? any help would be grate as i was hoping to take it to newquey in may and im worried about driving it anywhere :undecided:

it doesnt sound like the chain but i will check. i see you live in somerset i dont surpose you know of anyone local to the taunton arear that deals with golf as im running out of ideas  :undecided:
