Title: Vibe Audio
Post by: Devilz on 27 April 2010, 14:59
Hi, need few opinions about vibe audio  (http://www.vibeaudio.co.uk)stuff.

Went to audio shop to get some speakers for my mk4 and saw vibe audio speakers. They sounded good but they have no other brand which I can listen and compare to. Bloke there said they are one of the best audio makers who deal with show cars and audio stuff big time.

When I asked how will u rate these against likes of alpine/kenwood/pioneer and he said they are no way near vibe audio. Now I understand he might be trying me to get those but I never heard of this company before

what will u lot advise ( I'm not bass freak but I want sound quality - no compromise on it )

You haven't heard of vibe?
I personally think they are a pretty good/reliable brand!
But i do find that they are slightly more focussed on the Bass side of Audio!
Their boxes seem to be second to none!

If you want some good quality components have a look at rainbows and rockford fosgates :)

what about JBL, are they any good. I have used JBL woofers in past and I know they are worth the money but don't know how would you compare them against vibe or other makers.

Yeah thats the one of the reasons I'm very keen to get one of these (http://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/product_m-jbl-gto628_p-24823.htm)

The reason Vibe is 'bass heavy' is because that's what they started out doing; making boxes, tubes and subs.
When they first started out, Vibe originally stood for Vented Innovative Bass Enclosures.

Over the years they have added other products to their line up to become a full-spectrum audio brand.

That said, I wouldn't say their speakers and compenents are particular Hi-Fidelity.

As others have said here, if you're looking for best from components, try Rianbow, Focal, DLS, JL etc.

Vibe is reasonable stuff at sensible money but don't let the salesman yank your chain, they aren't the best thing since sliced bread. Look at your budget and purchase accordingly.
