Morning all,

Anyone know where I can get a wiring diagram for an 83 GTi?
Tried VW in Milton, but not much use. My motor has been in the garage for weeks, and now they tell me that they need a wiring diagram.

Help!

I have a new fusebox, but I'm told all the wiring around it has been botched in the past. I guess that its the fusebox side of things, to the ignition switch, the wipers, and the heaters in particular.

Any help appreciated. I want my car back......

Have you tried the back of the Haynes manual?

I've got one of the original (more comprehensive) Haynes manuals and it has all the info and diagrams you could ever need - not sure if you can still get it in the same format.

I haven't got the manual with diagrams in. Don't suppose that you have it in electronuic format of any sort?

somewhere in that page is a line with Golf 83 wiring diagram (eng)

download the zip and look at 79.PDF .

that looks likely to have everything you need
