www.digital-kaos.co.uk in the car software section has versions of software+ info but get the cable off ebay like thai says

There is a seller on EBAY listing a cable and software, will this work or do I need to get an official copy of VAGCOM??

depends how much money you have got i got a genuine ross tech one direct from ross tech :)
