Had good luck with my proxies. I had some nankang ns2's on before and believe it or not they weren't too bad for the money.

Just put a set of 4 hankook tyres on my mk2, good allround reasonably priced tyres.

last time i bought tyres i asked for toyo proxes and they all looked at me like i was stupid and said they weren't all that just pay for the name, but they gave me a set of bf goodrich and i swear i've never taken corners so fast. i trust these boys at the tyre place as they've all got mental cars. ie 16valve g60 corrado, ugly but stoopid powerfull cosworth and lotus carlton!! for the same price they said bfgoodrich anyday over toyo's

We did a group test a while back on another website i posted at. The toyos where the best off the line and the best in the dry. I dont like them so much in the wet tho? :undecided: Ive not tried anything persionally except Goodyears that where already on the car and Toyos that came with my new rims. So i cant really voutch for which one is best. I just know that my toyos are great tires, Especially when new.

Buy some slicks for the summer drag seasion
