Collinite 476 is a very good durable wax. Probably not the best in looks (looks are arguable) but it is really one of the most durable waxes out there
Chris

yep as Chris said its a very durable wax and leaves a nice finish, but will not leave a wet/blingy look like the dodo waxes do.
but imho protection and durabilty comes first when it comes to sealants and waxes.
-
which dodo wax would you recommend to me then I am after that really nice finish

the best wax... whats your budget? its all relative!!
-
The main range of waxes are colour charged, although they make next to no difference, it's nice to get one to match your car colour:

Or if you have a big budget, go for Supernatural, the ultimate Dodo Wax
-
as above if if your budget will allow or can highly recomend purple haze or the pro version

Yea I got the purple haze one, seems to working great for me so far, great beading, fairly easy to apply with a foam applicator not sure how long it lasts but iv done 2 layers and it's been 3 weeks still going strong.
-
I have both DJ Supernatural and Collinite 915. Supernatural is far easier to apply than the 915 (I have to heat the 915 up a bit in my hands before applying) and for sure the Supernatural gives a wetter finish. Durability the 915 is meant to be better but I cant confirm yet as I've only started using the 915.
-
Purple Haze or Blue Velvet for me every time

DJ Supernatural applied with hand :D

as with all dodo waxs apply thinly and do 2 layers to ensure even coverage, durabilty should be around 3/4 months.

Try topping up your wax with Chemical Guys pro detailer, its works a treat!!

i got offered some autosmart wax £30 the company uses them for the chemicals
but i thought they were naff
i want wax for my golf and corrado
the golf is white the corrado is a dark blue
not really fussed on budget dont want one that costs a fortune though
as long as it lasts a while
i might go for some purple haze pro give that a go
what types of cloths do you apply it with??
-
Chemical Guys 50/50 Pure Concours is a fantastic product, very under-rated. It's £40 a tin.
Very easy-on/easy-off and a lovely wet look finish.
-
purple haze pro is definatly a good choice  also consider supernatural.
Autosmart products are very good imho ive been using them for over 8yrs now and there products are getting better and better, the wax they do is getting good reviews on DW

Out of interest what type of cloth are you applying the Dodo wax with?
-
i dont use a cloth
i either use cellulose sponges or these i use alot atm http://www.i4detailing.co.uk/acatalog/Lake_Country_Foam_Applicator_1.html very good for applying wax imo
-
+1 for Dodo, which one depends on how much you want to spend. For me, the wooden pot Supernatural comes in makes me feel special  so it was worth the extra lol.
