-

-

Drove it away from the Garage stuck my foot down and said 'f*ck me'
not a Golf though. ?:P
-
^^ Why, what you drivin then?
-
::) jap crap buy a decent car like a vw ?:P
I'd say music too otherwise its anoying oh and lowering the car but me did not do that ?:D
-
BTW, my fave is banging tunes.
Only useful mod when you're doing 120mph down your favourite back road, or sat in London traffic at standstill.
-
The CD player was defintally my more used Mod.
However my favorite is either the bodykit or the wheels :) I love my rims 8)
-
cd player ???
come on lads what about the burbble of a nice after market zorst?
now thats better than tunes to me..... come to think of it, its me favorite tune ;D

The Corrado's Ram-Air induction kit beats the sounds of a stereo or exhuast. Its sucks skirts off of girls and the dummys out of babies mouths!! If you've got a VR6, get one!!
The Cab's best mod has to be the wheels - if you've seen them "in the flesh", you'll understand why.
-
ICE followed by the must do 40mm drop on a mk3
-
Well i loved the flamer kit on my scooby it was awesome and i've always liked gadgets

suspension definately because of the way you can drive it afterwards >:D
-
The best tunes you can have in a car is the Exhaust note.....
The Stereo was defunct in my mk1 cab cos i preferred the sound of the engine!
-
Eibach ARB's on my old 16v. people always harp on about how good they are, well i aint joking they are amazing
biggest regret is not takin them of before i sold it ::)
modded airbox is also a goodun on a 16v, as is the warm up reg mod

Gotta agree on the modded air box and K&N filter.
I have seen it mentioned a few times but never any details, what is the warm up regulator mod?
-
for me definately my suspension, they may not be coil overs but theyre still very competative. On twisty roads i give a lot of things a run for their money. Me in my mark 2 driver with a shoddy carb managed to beat a pug 205 1.9 gti
-
definatly my stereo system, spent a few quid  on it so, i would be daft not to like it!
but a close second is my scorpion exhaust, sounds nice!
stu
-
air filter and vdo gauges!

Right, had a new exhaust fitted at the weekend, so I've changed my mind.
New exhaust note beats Radio 1 anytime
In-car DVD is still cool for traffic jams though
-
First has gotta be the K&N kit - really nice sucky sound!
Then the Sony CD unit. Revolving face and nice graphics as well as a great sound! Oh and fun playing with the remote!
-
Eibach anti roll bars! by miles!
-
^^^
wot you done to get 177.3bhp from your 16v
-
Lots of stickers
-
I need to edit that, last time on the rollers it got 180.0!! ;-)
Its a 2.0, with a balanced bottom end, gasflowed head, shrick cams..
-
thats a good power  im definately getting a 2.0l 9a next year now:smiley:
what work did you do to the bottom end before you fitted it? wot did you balance?
-
Dunno, the previous owner had the work done (back in 1990!! - its done 160k miles now!) i have the paperwork, so i'll check later :)
