Been after getting a lance and snow foam for a while, however i dont own a pressure washer and only have a normal garden hose to my disposal. So can someone point me in the right direction as to where i can buy good quality snow foam solution and a lance that can be used with a hose if there is one.
Also some advice/pointers to how to use snow foam and the dillution required would be helpful.
Thanks

If you have very good water pressure you might be ok with this: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-and-drying/gilmour-foamaster-ii/prod_329.html (http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-and-drying/gilmour-foamaster-ii/prod_329.html)

you could pick up a cheap pressure washer, Amazon have got deals on the ones Guy recommended. about 80 quid IIRC.

cheers for that dragonfly, looks like a good product but from the customer reviews i dont think it'll do the job i want. Need something that is going to cover the car with foam that'll stay there for a while.
T_J_G - whats this pressure washer guy recommends?

the only way you're going to achieve this properly is with a pressure washer and HD lance... otherwise you're wasting your money
if you have a look for nilfisk pressure washers you will find some good deals around... you don't need anything amazing if you are only using it occasionally
nilfisk are being recommended by a lot of peeps over on detailing world

Thanks Guy, what would you recommend Lance and snowfoam solution wise?

Get you self a nilfisk think theres one thats in round £100 it'll do your job. Using the garden hose wont be any good and as said before it'll be a wast of time and money
Then get a lance that will match up to you nilfisk. this is the 1 i have, its great gets used about 3 times a week and no bother so far. http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-and-drying/foam-lance-various-fittings/prod_371.html
I have this SF because it PH neutral and wont mess with my wax like some other SF can

I got a snowfoam lance to use with my karcher and think its great, couldn't do without it now (the neighbours think I'm mental though).
Also, I seen a nilfisk in a screwfix I passed for £69.99. I dont know if it was a local offer though.

I use my dad's K2.02.
This is what it looks like:

It was cheap at the time yet over five years later, still works fine. You don't need to spend £££.

Here is the Nilfisk I was talking about in screwfix

Can anyone vouch for this Nilfish? Can get it from Argos for £60, I haven't got a major budget, but also don't want to be paying out for another one too soon. I'll probably only be using it once/twice a month

Loads of people on DW rate nilfisk pressure washers.
