Next;
15mm spacers on way for back
rear wiper delete
tinting rear lights :lipsrsealed:

 :afro:
-
Wheels look ok not my favourite wheel on a mk4 though.
Exhaust is 10000 times better - maybe needs tucking into the rear valance a bit more.
My honest opinon - i dont like the rear lights at all! sorry. US spec euro spec or the ones wazzer has would be my choice.
-
glad those 2 exhaust pipes went , looked like wheelbarrow handles !!! looking good , think id stick with oem rear lamps but each to there own

Well said.. hate them rear lights!
-
Yeah, i hated the rear lights when i got the car and were going to be first thing i changed, now i seem to almost like them.. weird.
Also, where my exhaust pokes out, i take it that its in the wrong place for 4motion valance??
-
looks about the right place, just a bit too low.
dont suppose you got any pics of the rear emblem from further back do you?
painted mine silver and not happy with the colour it came out. might spray it black
-
all looks good change the lights as look chav like

I agree was just slightly worried about hacking apart visible bit on valance! How much higher?

Looks good!
Aye, go for the 4mo valance which has a nice formed cut-out.
The rear lights are one of those Marmite things, but fair play for choosing something different. Keep up the modding!
-
Yeah, would look much better tucked up.

They came on it, but did choose to keep on. Thinking of darkening with lamin-x to hide uglyness in daytime, but at night, i quite like them :lipsrsealed:
or do what i want and get, just dont know if they will suit indigo blue :undecided:

And looks like exhaust comes out in completely wrong place for valance, and gunna be a ball ache to adjust :undecided:

They are M3 style rear lights.
I think the US Spec ones look the business on any MK4 tbh.

Sambo has some M3 style fitted to his Indigo Blue MK4 and that looked pretty good
-
Actually, having seen them on yours I've changed my mind :D
-
I have some fly eyes film you can use to cover your lights...

They have gone out of stock ATM on website so would be cool if you rate it, only thing that put me off bout that was it seemed like the old school 'tights' trick?
Have u used it? What did you think if you have? Have u seen the lami-x stuff? I got some for headlights and liked it.
Anyone got a pic of 'sambos' car with the smoked M3's? I remember a pic a while ago but i dont think the pic done them justice so put me off buying them !
-
You are heading in the right direction.

Have u got a pic direct on from the rear?? (haha )
-
defo done a good job :afro: like those alloys on a mk4 do look good against your colour

I've seen these on a gunmetal one near me that has anthracite S3 rims with polished lip and a 40mm drop and they look really smart on it, they are the only lights I'd consider fitting other than leaving the standard GTi lights on ours. Really like these ones, suit pretty much any colour I think
-
Hasn't Jordy got some as well - look at his project page as there's a decent rear end shot of his car
-
Where did you get that boost gauge from? details if you have them would be great.
-
Boost guage was on ebay, just a cheap thing. Has whoosh written on it :lipsrsealed:
Pod is best bargain ive had, cost 5quid from Hellfrauds and is a perfect fit for vent on dash!
-
nice one
-
I've got a roll here, I'm sure I could let you have enough to do your lights. I'm using it for my headlights on my bike, will be doing that this weekend so I'll let you know how it looks.
Here's a pic of a TT with the rear lights done in the kit

-
black buddy, will do them in the next few days
-
i'm guessing its not road legal that tint stuff for headlights?
-
it's 100% legal according to their website
