Hey folks, Just a quick question.. How do i get into the dials? I am looking on ebay at the chrome rings for it and it does look rather nice, gives a wee sport type look to the interior.
Anyone ?
-
remove the trim above the steering wheel - the faux leather bit
Undo the 2 x Torx 10 screws underneath and pull the clocks to toward you
Unclip the connectors on ethier side and remove
You'll see how the clocks come apart when they are in your hands

off topic here soz
i got a set of bora sport clocks here just need the rings and the plastic screen.
you can have them for £50.

If I take out my clocks, will it reset anything? or need re-coding when I plug it back in?
Want to get the foils for the dials but don't really wanna break anything in the process

Only thing it will reset is your clock and your trip computer

so what needles are they standard 1s
-
Ray from ARD did my clocks and he changed them to immo 3 for me which meant having a re-code
You will only need to have them coded if you were changing the clock mech which your not, old_no7 really knows his stuff as ray mentioned him and i think he got my needles off him for mine
