Title: trunk door button dosnt work

my gti's button for opening the trunk door dosnt work properly... have to switch it a few times for it to open... sometimes i even have to turn the car off to open the trunk with the car key...

any ideas on what the problem might be?

didnt think  mk4 gti have a button for opening the boot or trunk if thats what u call it got one fo the fuel cap  :undecided:

sounds like it could be the micro switch in the boot handle  :undecided:

no i dont. i dont think i can have one of those keys for my 99 agu
