Hi Guy's,
Just thought some of you may be interested in a little test I am carrying out at the moment:

thats a coincidence that you should be trying this out as I have been looking at g-technic glass sealant and C4 trim restorer
-
I've currently got G3, G4, and C1. Want to try C1 next, hopefully get chance to get it on over the next few days if the weather holds up.

are you going to be retailing these products?
-
Don't know. I'd love to retail G-techniq but i'm not too sure if they have retailers other than themselves. It's an e-mail i've been thinking about for a while, just not got round to asking the question.
As for the new product in the test, it's actually been sent over from Budapest. I have not been given any release date or anything, just hoping that as they have asked for my opinion, hopefully i'll be able to add them to my product list if they are good. They have also sent me, Nano Tyres, Nano Paint, 2 x polishes, and another one I can't remember.

intrestin... hope you do although like swissvax they might want to remain exclusive
so in your opinion how does it compare to g-techniq?

It's hard to tell by just squirting the hose on it, but it seemed there was much less water left on the Nano Glass side after it had all run off. I'm hoping for rain now so I can try them both at different speeds and hopefully get some videos.

I know, not the best time to try glass sealants, but you know what our weather is like.

i think when driving it will perform fairly well tbh

Thats what I see people test most, is by squirting a lot of water on the screen and let it run off. Unfortunately for me, I bought into that and got Carlack68. In the real world, it doesnt rain like a hose pipe it rains in tiny little droplets when lightly raining and thats what sticks to this kind of 'sealant' at low speeds so you have to use wipers. Then they will smear and the wipers will shudder.
What is a perfect test is treat the screen as normal. Get a bottle with a fine mist spray head and spray water on the screen. Then sit back and watch it stick. Then go for a drive in a built up area (where we spend most of our time driving) and watch it move slightly but not enough to clear your screen, then say oh fu*k as you ram the arse of white van man cause you cant see nothing.

hear what your saying kev but the shuddering blades is baffling me tbh, tying to think whats causing them to do that, theres something not right somewhere for def if they're doing that.

The only thing that I can think of in regards to the shuddering blades is that when there's no sealant on the screen and very little rain and you use the wipers on any car, sometimes they will shudder if the screen is a bit dry in places. But even with sealant on and with the screen wet it will still shudder a little, just a little nothing drastic but it does it all the same.
