and I ended up doing a few loops of the 'Evo Triangle'. Gorgeous weather for it, and hardly any traffic at all - Perfect!!

Finally I see a 3-door Reflex Silver only a few days before I get mine! I love it and makes me glad I picked the same setup. Those we're some very nice pictures as well.

It's actually 3 roads, but they are amazing when empty, and the weather's good:

The A5 along the bottom, the A543 up the right hand side, and the B4501 down the left hand side, an awesome place to 'play' :)

I feel a trip to North Wales coming on...

I was beginning to doubt my Reflex Silver choice, but I'm really looking forward to it now!!
-
Nice to see my photos are restoring the faith in Reflex Silver ;)
-
Deer, screeech oh no a dent.

Nice to see my photos are restoring the faith in Reflex Silver ;)
Yeah... its just that recently I've been noticing how many silver cars there are on the road, and that so many of them just look soooo bland! I chose silver to blend in, but I also want it to look good - and yours proves that it doesn't have to look bland!!
-
Silver GTI is top!! lovely car enjoy

it does look kinda bland when dirty, but it's so easy to clean and looks amazing when it is clean..
I like that it can blend in too..

9 months
I do around 6000 miles per annum. So very similiar.
She really is a 'Black Beauty' if I may so presume and the pictures are truly wonderful.
BTW: All cars in our area of London, Zone 2, have been covered with gritty black debris. I presume from the effects of the Icelandic eruption. Never happened before. The stuff is really very gritty and can easily damage paint.
-
Its been dusty but i cant say ive noticed the volcanic ash, its just very dusty due to the fact its rained very little in the last couple of months.

The stuff on our cars is really very gritty and black. You can actually feel it quite easily.
Have to hose Wolfgang this weekend, again. Pain.
Never wanted to look after a car so much, even though I have had much more expensive cars!
Can't understand it.
BTW: Just a very innocent suggestion: Why not call your car 'Black Beauty'? Seems very apt.

I'm at about 2580 I only drive 18 miles to work and back each day so it isn't being used that much at present. Got a trip to Devon coming up in June so that should add a good few. It's a great car tho don't you think?

Dwarling. I Googled it. Been there many times and had one of the best times with a Welsh maiden of excellent repute! Now I know why they call it the evocative triangle!
-
Right then
As you know it so well we need to see some pics of a red 5 door GTI doing the loop.
You up for it? and don't forget the camera
How's Wolfgangs dents??

Wolfgang has a perfect body and needs to mate with Bonnie!
I got The Dentman, Martin Leach, to come and fix it. He is a true artist and he has done a fabulous job. He is from Lancs and a true gentleman. He rides Ewan McGregor's BMW bike which was featured in 'The long way round'.
I will get to the triangle sometime in the summer and take some very evocative pictures which I will PM you. The tasteful ones will be on the forum!
The car is fabulous but was terribly noisy on the M4 motorway to and from Heathrow. The tarmac is really horrible so it is not the car IMO.
Soon to have the Sat Nav + Bluetooth installed by Darren.
Also, having the rear diffuser and side mouldings sprayed in the Metallic Grey of the front bumper. Getting my old Honda Garage to do the job! I think it will look really classy and suit Wolfgang to a tee!
AM

Sorry to dig this post up!
Glad to see a few of you guys have ventured over to the Evo, unfortunately I haven't been able to keep up with the thread (or drive my car) due to being in Kabul.
If anyone's around the Evo on the 1st or 2nd of July though you may see me pootling around at the national speed limit.....

Just so that any visitors are aware, there is quite often unmarked police cars in this area. Last time I was there I saw 2. Normally it's skoda octavia vrs's I've seen a silver, grey and a blue one all in the area, estates too.

Also, here's a few pics from our visit last year.
