Title: Wishbone bush

As stated in previous posts... I know nothing of engines!

Lol.

Now we got that aside, been told my wishbone bush is "soft" and could do with replacing (causing a knocking sound)

I'm getting my AGU mapped today by R-tech ;) When I get paid next, which Wishbone bush's shall i go for? Standard golf one's?

I saw in someones comment they use "Audi TT wishbone bush" wondered if they make a difference at all? Or if its not worth the money and just get standard?

Audi TT rear wishbone bush - approx £10 a side

Get them pressed into your existing wishbone

The TT bushes are better than standard as they are solid rubber units and they dont give a harsh ride like poly bushes. The standard units have voids/holes and are not solid rubber, these tend to split over time and also when you lower the car it puts more stress on these.

ok so you said the Audi TT Rear bushes are good, I need the ones done front divers side, that the same thing?

if its the front bush on the wishbone that you need thaen standard VW bushes are fine, its only the rear bushes that tend to split.

they arrived today and the cars going in tommorow morning to get them fitted :smiley:
the kit cost me £65 from venom, the kit i ordered doesnt have the ARB bushs as i want to order new ARB's and they come with them.
