does any one know roughly how much cruise control is on a mark 5 gti at the dealers , used to have it on my old car and really miss it now

They can fit if you'r car came with out it. Going rate i think with the ''new'' arm is around the 160.00 quid touch.

you could do with knowing someone who works at vw. iv a friend who works there and got me the kit for 60 and once i fitted it he used the laptop to tell the car it had it and hey presto it worked ha. id say that 160 for the dealer is a good price with them fitting it and that.  :smiley:

Its in the VW parts catalogue for £150 fitted just now.
I've asked to have it fitted before I collect my car.

I know you can buy the stalk from kufatec for about £65.
I have a VagCom, but wasn't too keen in removing the steering wheel to fit it!

I have just had the arm fitted (£45 off e bay) and need to buy a module for it (£50 off e bay) and then just ask someone with vagcom to reprogramme it for me and its sorted for less than £100.

Cost me £150 fully fitted last year at a local VW dealer, on my R32.  That was best quote from 3 dealers.
