been having a slight knocking noise coming from the rear of my 8v, a friend of mine who has a 16v told me that its my rear bushes as his did the same once. also when i looked through my previous mot's one of the advisories was for rear bushes getting knackered.
basically i dont have much knowledge of where they are located in reference to the shocks cos im planning soon on getting coilovers soon and would like to do these at the same time. are they part of the suspension or seperate?
any advice greatly appreciated
cheers guys

Click the Car Diagram picture for a larger version and its No.7
Underneath the car you have the rear beam axle, a long metal bar across the car. The two bushes are in there, with reference to replacing shocks at the same time, they are two different jobs as they are seperate components.

Also worth checking rear top mounts and that the exhaust is not banging the beam.
