Title: warning triangle
Post by: scotland67 on 11 April 2010, 08:57
Do all Mk5 GTI have a warning triangle in a nice orange box clipped to the near side inside the boot? My car is a uk spec import sourced through a Swedish dealer and it might something included for cars intended for Sweden which I have been lucky to get. I missed out on the space saver spare though and had to buy one from the dealer so not really a good bargain.

My car didn't have a warning triangle but got one at tesco for £4. Replaced my spacesaver spare with a full sized alloy from eBay. Got a foam insert from dealer to raise the floor of theboot ti accomodate full size spare wheel

It may be mandatory in Sweden, like in Germany, for all new cars to have one supplied as standard.
