Title: stalling car

right all here goes again(bloody car)
got me a 1.6 driver, webber carb gti cam exhaust etc etc.
Anyway problem is when slowing down at lights etc the engine slows down, fair enough but when it just cuts out bit of a problem really, any ideas as this is driving me mad now??
how can i stop it stalling??
all ideas welcome and ill say what i have and havent tried yet,

give it a good clean out with carb cleaner and also check for any airleaks

both been done mate, thanks for the reply. all pipes and gaskets have been replaced  ???

its sorted now, turned out to be the air flap in the air filter box, it opened when it felt like it, oops dont i feel stupid  ;D
