Post by: der_kaiser on 10 April 2010, 19:44
I'm thinking about ordering some of this stuff. Anybody used it? I've not got a polisher so I'l be applying it by hand.

Nice one I'll give it a go, I hope I get decent results without the rotary.

if your polishing technique is good you should get good results, i love the stuff personally, also consider getting britemax blackmax glaze to apply after polishing it really takes the gloss up a notch.

Should I be using the resto max instead of my normal polish?

id carry on using that really as its not as aggressive as restomax, restomax is very good if more correction is needed but i wouldnt use it on a regular basis for this reason. glazes are basically used to enhance the gloss and shine after the polishing stage, retsomax is a polish not a glaze so only use it if you have light scratches and heavy swirls/spiderwebbing.

hope this helps dude

Yeah thanks a lot for your help mate. My paint's pretty good just a few minor marks, I think it's worth a try.
