Title: Oil dipstick

Hi just a quick question soz if it's sounds silly but when I put oil in my car where is the max oil mark on the dipstick Because mine has a sort of crosshatch bit near the end of it and a orange bit in the middle of the dipstick so where do i fill It to. Thanks
