more info needed really, as read in another post that kits are available to do this so i thought i would make my own topic on this subject  :evil:
inivid seems to have alot of knowlege on this being from over the ocean. let`s get some info on gtiforum so we can get this done over here!!!

The info is already out there.. tfsi or random 2.0 8v crank (i think it's azj) with drive gear from a seat and appropriate pistons. Stroker kits have been around forever and aren't the best way to increase engine capacity in F.I applications.

As above a longer stroke is not always the best set up in a Turbo

o.k.. cool,  just trying to learn something new.. was hoping to gather some information and have it available in one place for others to read too..  would be interesting to know whats involved and what the pro`s and con`s are!  :smiley:

lol  :grin:... o.k i am being lazy, no doubt about that.. more to the point its finding the time to look..
will gather some info somtime soon for others too look at.. and though you say stroking isnt the best way to look for power, what about combined with other mods like bigger turbo, injctors, map, fuel pump, fpr, ect ect????.
