Title: please help....
Post by: ade_aidy_ady on 09 April 2010, 16:10
got a bad misfire this morning.... checked plugs and they werent too good (over the 0.8mm recommendation) so new ones going in tomorrow....but i also did a scan on vagcom and it brought up the lambda sensor malfunction...

would a bad misfire from the spark plugs cause the lambda fault to show on vagcom or has this maybe gone faulty too...?

another question is when cleaning the MAF is it ok to just squirt the electrical contact cleaner through the plastic mesh on the MAF......?

thanks ......

Adrian
