Title: Tyre Wear
Post by: Toon on 08 April 2010, 16:25
I am wondering what sort of mileage people are getting from their tyres?

I have just completed 10,000 miles in my Mark 6 since Christmas and am astonished at how little tyre wear there is (Dunlop SP Sports). Rears are like new and fronts are about 25% worn.

This is a pleasant surprise. Is this normal? (I'm not complaining).

20,000 miles possible?

I have 13,000 miles on mine and i am already onto new fronts last week. They were Dunlop Sport Maxx too.

I must drive round the corners too quickly if yours are hardly worn with similar mileage!!!
