I bought a MK5 GTI over Christmas & I'm thoroughly enjoying the driving experience. A big disappointment though is the RNS510 Satnav, I've used it 3 times on recent trips in Wales and each time, due to the ridiculous limitation on the number of postcode digits, I've ended up in the wrong place - my old £69 Navman system would have got me there everytime.
Fortunately I bought the case used so didn't pay the silly prices by VW is ripping off UK customers by selling a very expensive system that isn't capable of basic navigation, they surely should have sorted this by now !!

So is there no way of upgrading the Sat Nav software on the unit? Or would VW take all my money for the service and make me think it's better to get a whole new, upgraded unit?
