Title: Tyre Pressure Warning Light On
Post by: Searly on 05 April 2010, 19:45
I have just put 4 new 225/40R18 (92Y) Vredestein Sessanta XL , on the car over the W / End .  Within the first 5 miles of running on them , the Tyre Pressure light came on .  Tried to reset but still stayed on , have been to local garage and checked pressures . All are at 2.6 bar .    Does any body know why, this has happened . I have had the car for 7 months and the light has never come on before .

Did it "bong" when you held the reset button down?

Think you just need to reset the monitor at the new tyre pressure. The procedure us in the manual.

press down for about ten seconds. When it's reset you'll hear a "bong" sound.
