You get what you pay for i say. I got KONI's and there a nice comfortable ride when on soft even when the car slammed low. Sure there not limmo standard but they dont shake the car to bits and handle a hell of a lot better than a limmo!

I haven't been a big fan of coilovers on daily drivers but I am really thinking of them lately. Roads up here are sh!te though. Afraid of beating my car and me to death.

Not too sure really. I am looking at the Konigsport FK's. Use Koni inserts and are suppose to be pretty good. Be a couple of months though.

The lower you go, the harder they are gonna get, it's common sense.

It's only really worth getting coilovers for 2 reasons, if you wanna go REAL low, OR if you need to be able to alter your rideheight. Other than that you would be better off spending your money on a Koni/Eibach shocks and springs combo.

ANyone know of where i can get a package deal of the Koni yellow top and Eibach springs? The only place I can find is awesome GTI and they seem to be slightly out of their mind on the price.

^^ plus they are sh!t at taking orders and always tell you the stuffs in stock when it isnt, then when you phone up someone else is there and it 'isnt their fault'

a car on coilovers is definately gonna handle better tho, but can you put up with the ride?

I don't see why a car on coilovers will always handle better than a spring and shock set up, all it is, is a shock with an adjustable platform and a spring, if you get a good set of adjustable dampers and some springs that are designed for the car you can't really go far wrong...If I didn't want my car slammed I would be on Koni Eibach set up for sure.

thx for all of your replies I'm probably going to buy them supersport coilovers and see what they're like.  If I don't like them I'm sure someone will b uy them off me.  The way I see it, is thta my suspension is f**ked because its done 140k and is still on the original sprongs so if i'm gonna spend money i may as well be able to alter the height to see what its like
