Title: mk4 1.8t anniversary mods , advice needed!
Post by: joff GTI on 02 April 2010, 20:22
the back ends skittish when pushed n the throws too long so i`m thinking about getting a short shift fitted , front & rear anti-roll bars & altering the suspension , lowering etc..

what suspension set-up would be recommended , i don`t wanna spend a fortune cos i`m not taking it on the track or owt , just something half-decent...
coil-overs , sport suspension ??? any advice would be appreciated...

Skittish back end... new bushes.... As for suspension, on my Anniversary I'm currently running H&R springs on standard shocks at the moment, ride is spot on.. Not too soft or hard.. H&R springs can be had for around £150 depending how much you want to drop, they do upto a 50mm drop

i`d probably go for the 35mm ones , so are standard shocks ok or would it be worth upgrading? are anti roll bars a worthy upgrade?

get a whiteline adjustable rear arb and either just springs if your shocks are good or get some Blistien shocks and a set of springs
