I was thinking of getting the front of my GTI protected to avoid stone chips and scratches, as the roads round Perth are shocking. I have found a couple of companies Defendall and ventureshield that do it but having trouble finding branches in Scotland that will fit it, anyone had this done to there car or know where i can get it done?

Try these links:
http://www.paintshield.co.uk/ - Paintshield
http://www.paintgard.co.uk/paint-protection/paint-protection-film.htm - Paintguard
http://www.bodyguarduk.com/ - Ventureshield
I think they are all the same and use 3M technology.

That's Defendall...and they did my 911 and did a damn fine job too.
I'd head there if you wanted it.
