I am selling my 18 Vancouver alloys and am getting loads of interest from mk5 owners I have one bloke who is uncertain they will fit for some reason I am correct in thinking there would be no reason they wouldn't fit as they are same size wheel and off set as mk5 gti wheels. He said something about bolt size?
Thanks evo

Interestingly if you search ebay for golf mk6 wheel bolts they all refer to slimeline ones with a 19mm nut head, mk5 are 17mm nut heads and not slim line. So it might be that the mk5 wheel nuts wouldn't fit in the alloy. In which case just point him on ebay and tell him to buy the slimline bolts. I suppose you could get a techy to borrow a mk5s wheel nut from a car and try it in the alloys to see if it fits.

The wheel bolts are exactly the same. I put the alloys I had on my mk5 onto my mk6 for a few months and they fitted just the same. The nut covers fit too just the same.
The next wheels I put on my Golf were Black Detroits from a mk5 ED30 (Euro spec). Ditto, both fitted fine.
I now have Scirocco wheels on my Golf. Again, same bolts and same nut cover trims.
M14 bolts with 17mm head, tapered angle.

If it were me I'd ask the dealer.
Oh, hold on you are the dealer.
