Title: What is it worth?

Hi Guys,

I bought a TDI 130 a month ago - I've inherited a few prob's by the looks of it. Needs a new intercooler (£300 new unless you get 2nd hand etc) May need a new Power steering pump too. Also due for cambelt in October and finally it has the faulty door module which doesn't really effect the car other than the puddle lights not working and occasional locking itself before turning on the ignition.

I'm tempted to get rid (only tempted) and start afresh really (another VW) My question; How much do you think its worth?

51 plate almost 106,000 miles
Black three door
Cruise
Electric Sunroof
Years Tax
MOT till October 2010
2 Keys
Part service history
Full service within the last month with coolant change and new brake fluid
Tyres have plenty of life on them

Just after an approximation from the experts within this place????

I would guess around £3k or maybe a little lower. Depends what people want to pay and if they want the grief of changing the parts. Would stick with trying to get the garage to take it back personally ;)

If it was me I would keep it and get the bits done that need doing. Your going to have problems with any car, all part of the fun of motoring really. :smiley:
