Title: Suspension.
Post by: johnson6672 on 30 March 2010, 16:13
Just been looking into suspension kits,

The choices are,

http://www.venommotorsport.com/product_details.php?id=7476&manufacturer=FK&category=suspension
FK AKX, comes with 12 month warranty.

http://www.venommotorsport.com/product_details.php?id=19989&manufacturer=Koni&category=suspension
Koni STRT kit, life time warranty!!!!!

And

http://www.venommotorsport.com/product_details.php?id=34755&manufacturer=Spax&category=suspension
Spax VSX Kit 12 month warranty.

The FK kit is the cheapest, £205, the Spax is £259 and the Koni is £301, but what is selling me on the Koni is the lifetime warranty, especially having read about people haveing problems with cheap suspension kits like JOM.
Has anyone got any experiance of these kits or suggested any others.

Did you add them to the basket or just looked at them?? Price reduction didn't happen until you add to basket and then view the basket

Just looked at the AP's not too bothered about coilovers, just thinking i might aswell do the springs and shocks at the same time as the wishbons, top mounts and arb bushes, also i don't think they have ever been changed and the car has got 145000 miles on the clock. The AP sping and shock set looks good though, and 24 month Warranty according to venom.
