Title: mk2 Golf GTi [Diesel]
Post by: Guy on 30 March 2010, 10:01
had a great day over at A7 UFO's place yesterday... the heavens opened in the afternoon but the job Turned Out Nice Again

wasn't too dirrrty to start with.. only surface muck.. the car had been nicely protected so it all fell off quite happily

gave the arches & shuts a good going over with APC/TFR and then the jet washed with underbody lance

then it was on with the snowfoam, which in this instance really did its job

so far a touchless wash... win

so then it was on with the dodo... lime prime followed by purple haze wax

the interior was a slightly different kettle of fish... years of workshop lovin had taken their toll

I want to get the concrete floor painted whilst it's still relatively empty

Ah well, it was worth asking. If it's still empty for a bit when you're done I'll ask again. Willing to hand over beer tokens for each month of use!

The Mrs was moaning for ages that I was taking up the entire garage and she wanted to put her car away...so if she doesn't start putting her car away there will certainly be a side free.

Ha ha ha I bet she doesn't. I asked round the houses in our close about renting one of the garages. They all said it's either full of stuff they can't put anywhere else or that "I put the car in their occasionally" yet I've never seen them put in the garage, always left on the street. Bastards.

if I can get rid of the air hockey table you could def have one side as the bikes should fit behind it.

It was only a cheeky request. If you really do end up with space though I certainly cross your palm with notes for some secure storage!
