One thats not to loud as I got a young daughter, but also sounds nice, and want it to sound good with a Forge 007p and remap once I get it done.

I get a lovely sound from a simota aeroform, it's basically a cone filter in a carbon fibre trumpet but the air rushing in through carbon resonates well

i just got the pov spec ebay one thats 45ish quid. the long arm one.
not that loud apart from the noise when you come off boost

My mates got a 57i Air filter, and it gives him a sort of whoosh sound when he changes gear, his car is standard other then this air filter.

Is his a 1.8T?
Is it a whoosh or a chatter?? If its the latter then his DV is knackered and needs replacing

It's deffo sounding like a whoosh, and it's only when he high rev's like, bout 5,000. I just bought this as posted earlier in the thread:

i just bought a PiperX filter for my 2.slow and its made a really difference, over the moon with it infact :cool:
