Title: Hella Twins replacement cover

i bought a 2nd hand set of hell angel eyes of ebay for my golf but theyre slightly broken.they work fine and the main assembly of them are fine but 1 of the covers which sits infront of them for aesthetics is cracked / broken. does any1 know where i can get a new 1? oh and did any mk3 golfs ever come out the factory with angel eyes or r they an after market accessory? cheers

They sell covers on ebay. black ones or smoked clear ones.

I'm guessing they are angel eyes as he said the cover that sits in front of them has cracked, in which case no angel eyes never came from the factory on MK3 Golfs.

On the other hand he could mean the Hella front covers!!! They're prone to cracking because they're plastic crap!!!

Angel eyes normally have glass lenses, especially if made by Hella!!

Okay they aren't angel eyes, which is a good thing. :)

You can buy replacement covers but the cheaper ones aren't genuine Hella items so if you come to sell in the future, people will want a genuine set of Hella Twins to be a complete set of everything Hella.

cheers . sory if i confused any of you. how much are hella twins worth just incase i got ripd of? oh and where can i find a new replacement cover then ? preferably quine hella ones.

Sold mine for £160 but they were in MINT condition!

You might be lucky enough to find some covers on ebay

I paid £25 BIN plus £7 for mine (projectors) off ebay,no cracks etc.A set sold on ebay in past 3 days for £20 but they were collect only.Another set like mine in dragon green went for £100 about two weeks ago plus p+p.Obviously it varies !!!. :laugh:

got mine for a 100 quid with 1 broken cover. i looked on ebay for a new cover but i cant find any :( are there any websites you guys know of that i could order 1 from? did volkswagen sell these headlights andif so would they be able to order me in one?
