Hi all,
Had the car remapped (finally!) at R-Tech on sat, what a difference! Anyway i'm down on power a little bit (AUM - ran 190bhp) and the cause of my boost leak is down to the good old PCV system
I've had a look through related topics using the search but was wondering if anyone could do a screendump of ETKA on the PCV system (all the stupid little pipes and y-piece etc) so i can get my head around the system and what i'm replacing and how. Would be much appreciated!
Cheers,
Matt.

i had a leak from the pcv system and most of the parts to replace add up to around £120 as Ry says i'd be inclined to fit a catch can and get rid of all that crap tbh thats what i ended up doing well worth it!

Good shout guys, i'll deffo get my hands on a catch can then as it was on my list anyway lol!
I'll have a read through the ukmkivs link now...

I am tempted by a catch can too, as I am sure that is my reason for being down slightly on power. Are they easy to fit for a complete novice?

Ish.
I'm sure I could lend a hand as we can use mine as guide!

Yeah I would appreciate that. Its on the end of the list though as performance isn't too much of an issue at the moment and economy is still pretty good.

Give me a shout when you want to get it sorted mate. :afro: How did you get on with your arm rest?
-
Yeah got that in ages ago. Just won a new lid for it on ebay this weekend, so the top will match my interior now. All in all, a decent armrest for under £30

Sweet. I got mine sorted in the end :) All fitted and good.

Reading the link on the ukmkiv's site and other info on here everyone says you need a catch can with 19mm outlets...
Surely you can use one with smaller outlets, say 15mm, and get a silicone adapter from 15mm to 19mm and run the majority of the pipework in 19mm. The reason im asking is there are catch cans on ebay for £30 delivered, paying over £100 seems a bit steep to me for what it is...
