Title: smoothed bumpers

after some piccks of front and rear smoothed bumpers, tried searching but didnt bring anything up pic wise.

Wouldn't it be a better idea to get your current bumper smoothed/re-sprayed, and not have the worry that the after market one from ebay wont have a tight fit?

no as it cost to much to get done propaly and may crack anyway

not if it's done properly. If I ever get round to getting an R32 front I'd have my rear smoothed rather than buy an aftermarket bumper

just a thought if you habve your standard bumper smoothed, aren't the fixing points behind the rub strips?

also does the us spec one fit? i like the idea of moving the plate, but not completley smoothing the lot off.

and if i wanted to smooth the recess out of the rub strip would fibreglass do the job? or is it likely to crack/

as far as i know you can get a us spec one, but its a bit bigger and needs chopping down. on the plus side it comes with sidemarkers.

probably easier to just get a spare and fibreglass it, gonna need painting anyway
