Title: insurrance requote
Post by: Dizzie on 15 November 2004, 19:25: just got a quote from Adrian Flux as my current policy runs out with Brentacre at the end of the month.

last year... age 22 with 1 NCB and all the mods with 8v lump - ?894 (comp)
this year... age 23 with 2 NCB all the mods with 20v lump - ?660 (comp)

it's all good ;D

i am with adrian flux and pay only a bit less than that with 6 years ncb and a few years older than you!

Try elephant.co.uk, there fairly cheap!

Im paying 700 for my 1.3, with adrain flux! bastards >:(

Post by: jv on 15 November 2004, 21:58: yeah i have been with elephant in the past and they were always the cheapest buy a long way. only problem with them is that although they allow modifications, they don't actually insure them so if your car was stolen the pay out would only be based on a standard car. at least now with adrian flux the value of all the mods are covered :)

On the winter banger I'm with elephant for ?188 tpft without any no claims. The next cheapest on the banger was over ?400 :o
