What a lovely Saturday to be sat at the side of the M3.
-
What an odd place to want to spend a Saturday  what's happened?
-
Know but I'm quite enjoying it. Cos it's volksworld show loads of aircooleds are going past. Think I've snapped my clutch cable. All was fine and then a dong! And clutch pedal dissapeared lol. Traffic guys were right behind me though and were really helpful
-
Where's the show may venture to it? Stil not a major job to replace so ul be on your way soon enough surely?
-
have you looked at the clutch cable to see if its gone then?? if its gone you should be able to the bottom end of the cable on the clutch arm no probs...
-
Shows at sandown park in esher Surrey, i'ma go up tomorrow. Nah not looked at all got mugged by the wombles straight away lol. RAC's coming, hope they bring me a bacon sarnie.
-
i would like to know what the legalities are regarding the wombles...
end of the day it could be a simple fault you could rectify yourself.. instead of the possibility of paying to get towed off..
I have changed a wheel on the m25 in rush hr on a fri before now.. f**k it i think..

Today, my husband dropped me off at work. Ten minutes later I got a text saying "I just dropped the b*tch off I'll be there in a few baby, miss you". I asked him about it he said "I don't know what you're talking about Megan". My name isn't Megan. Not even close. FML

Could be the release arm inside the gearbox
-
mine did this!! exactly the same
NEW CLUTCH for mine, it also took part of the gesrbox with it, the push rod is backward fit on the mk 3 and the bit it joins to in the gearbox was split when the clutch gave up, the part that broke is avaliable to buy so no biggie, its likle a little kidney shamped bit of metal with a cog hole in it
-
home now. The guy tried to fix it at the side of the road, but it looks like you've got to take the shield and wiper arms off or so to get the cable off, so wasn't up for doing it at the side of the road. The cables sheared right in half so just need to get back into basingstoke to pick the cable up. £23 from CAF. Wasted saturday though
brilliant

OK. Mate fixe it for me yesterday and it's all working fine, but there's a funny noise coming from it as it touhes the biting point, but only until the revs increase. Makes loads of noise in reverse too.
Any ideas?
