They dont have leads the have a coil per cylinder, so 4 coils and the bolt down on a AGU if you have a misfire prob best get fault codes read then go form there, i know a misfire on a AGU does not always mean coil pack could be the ignition AMP, if you find it is a coil check and maybe change your plugs as a big gap in plugs(worn out) cause coil packs to go quicker as they work harder

He means pull the plug from the coil pack.

And if its gone you will know, it will run like a bag of sh!t and will sound like a retarded impreza. if it does, the easiest way is to get a fault code reader / Vag-Com and it will tell you which coil is mis-firing

I'm having a similar issue, sat in traffic the other morning and the car starts to wobble, no power, sounds rough from the exhaust note, get home, checks all plugs, work except for the far left hand one, try it on another pack and works, so plugs ruled out, moved the pack that appeared to not work to another plug, still not working so hey presto i thought, its "that" (points and frowns) pack there it is........go to the scrap dealer, get another for £15, put it one, still not working on the left hand connection, but it does work on others, What do I chack next??
