hey brad, new sig's lookin sweet mate!!! (i still have them bits saved for yas, we'll have to sort something out soon!!) not got no plans for anything on/with the rocco just usin it for a work mobile with a heater!! cant make my mind up what to do with it to be honest, i thought it would have the same appeal as my old mk1 rocco storm, but to be honest it aint kickin it, no looks when you drive in it, peeps look down there nose at you, bit of a cum down really from driving the mk2 16v, but then again, i drive the bug and everything is worth while, the looks, the noise, the bumpy ride, the dodgey gearshift, the lack of heating!, you get in and all them things dissappear!! (sorry if im sounding all 'mr aircooled') but if you aint sampled it its is a thing to try!! lol
yeah any ideas with what to do with rocco peeps let me know!! im gonna chop the springs this weekend to stop it lookin like a vegetarian oil rig!!!!
Gaz ;D

Hey Gaz,
I still want the bits so when ever you get some free time just let me know. My mum had a '79 Bug convertable with the injected 1600. That was one of the nicest one I ever drove. Even had A/C. lol. The heat in hers would roast you out too. Are your heat ducts and heat exchangers rotted at all? I wouln't mind a bug but you know how it goes. I'll never afford all the cars i want. he he. What engine is in the 'rocco? Seen some sweet looking ones about. Take care mate,
Brad

The more i look at ur bug like hun,the more they r growin on me! ;D how dare u get me into these type o vws too man Gaz! ;)
Dinx :-*

Cut your springs aint that a stupid thing to do?
-
^^^ Yup, The springs you buy arnt just shorter, there also harder to cope with the lower amount of travel, Cutting your springs just means that if you hit a bump, you bottom out and ultamatally f**k your suspention up, and gives you a pritty bumpy, harsh ride :-\
-
wooooooohoooooooooooo i was right about somethin 8)
-
yep its not advisable, but hey, id rather run the rocco (my shagged out work mobile thats all by the way) on some trimmed springs than drive it looking like an oil rig!!! ITS SERIOUSLY jacked up, i aint spendin nowt on it cause im tight and any spare cash goes on the bug!!!! hey got me interior sorted, my dads just got a astra 16v gsi (rolled) for the engine to put in one of his old cavaliers, so im havin the front seats and rear bench to go in the bug, jut gotta find some cloth to match the seats to retrim the door cards...........
Gaz ;D
