Title: 1.8t de-cat pipe with miltek cat-back exhaust...
Post by: tom-gardiner on 24 March 2010, 21:56
would this fit on my AGU with a Miltek 4motion style cat-back exhaust?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-GOLF-GTI-MK4-20v-1-8T-TURBO-EXHAUST-DOWN-PIPE-DECAT_W0QQitemZ170451312290QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item27afb09ea2

also would i need anyother parts to fit it?

or would i be better with a sports cat than a de-cat?

thanks, tom

you will more than likely need a exhaust step down(connector pipe from cat to center section, i have this de-cat and had to measure and make a connector pipe

from what i know there aint much diff between de-cat and sports cat (bhp gain and turbo spool up wise) apart from the price and you need a friendly MOT tester with de-cat or swap come MOT time

that is a 2.5" decat, same as mine so should fit straight on to your system
