Title: Shocks - Boge or Bilstein...
Post by: twistedblack69 on 24 March 2010, 18:26
Hey guys, need a new shock (I think) as my car is making a real bad scraping noise if I go over a pothole, and it's sitting slightly lower on one side than the other (one side I can fit my knuckle between the arch and the tyre, other side I can't) so was looking at either getting a Boge Turbo from GSF, as I'm pretty sure that's what's already on there, or a Bilstein from Eurocarparts. Only thing I'm thinking is if I get a Bilstein, would it be advised to change the other side to suit, as I'm on a bit of a budget (I'm a student)

Not sure whether you mean the front or the back of the car. Definetly buy a pair of shocks bud, preferably Boge to match either front or rear.  If your buying new rears also get a pair of rear top plates, they're probably rotten. :)

If it is sitting lower that will be a spring or top mount, shock wise boge is ok but fit a pair.
