Title: Ash tray to something a tad more useful

My GTI has an ashtray, which is a real anachronism.

Anyone know if you can buy something more tray holder like to go there instead? Presumably there was a non-smokers pack?

the non smokers pack was standard, and the cigarette lighter was a no cost option, unusual for VW!

Why not just open the lid and pull the ash tray out - it is removeable......
