Title: oil pump change

hi guys,about to change the oil pump on my aum, any ideas on how to do it? or a step by step guide or something?? do i have to time the engine when i change i to??

Easy to do mate.

Buy a genuine oil pump and oil pump strainer(£12) with seals, also sump sealer

* Remove sump
* Remove strainer(2 x bolt)
* Remove bolts out of pump pulley(pulley off)
* Remove bolts out of pump(pump off)

* Fit pump(with pulley off)
* Fit pulley onto chain and back onto pump
* Fit sump(clean off and reseal edges)

You'll obviously need oil and filter as you'll have drained it all.

that seems easy enough!! do i have to time the engine too??

No. Just spins off crank chain, not in sync, you'll see when dissassembled.
