seen this but is not a bosch one it it impotant to get a bosch one or not was told a while ago to stay away from ebay ones but this from eurocarparts so thought should be fine?

also the ones a eurocarparts bosch ones say there is a surge charge as the are recondiotioned so obviously not brand new whats all that about?

pretty much all MAF's are reconditioned these days
Don't know of any brand spanking new ones for sale

a while back i had loss of power bad mpg and the car was not pulling like it used to so i saw a thread on cleaning the maf did that and it work everything went back to being good then it went the same again about 3 months later and a month ago i had to clean it again same syptoms but now its doing the same problems and carnt be bothered to keep trying to clean it when its getting worse so thought i would just get new one

fair enough as if you had said there was nothing wrong I would have said don't bother changing it
More often then not the 'new' MAF is worse than the current one
I'm still on the original fitted back at the factory :undecided:

loads of them fail out the box. Dai-Cymru bought one from VW and it turns out the resistor fell out causing his running problems

also when i put my foot down the car judders slighty likes its struggling them takes off. u think this is maf related?
