Title: key codeing and cutting?

thinking of buying a spare key http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290407392766&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT will i be able to programme this to my car myself or will i have to pay to have it codeing? also any1 know the rough price of having it cutt?
