Was pricing one of these up today

Nice but no way worth the normal APR "Need to Remortgage your house" prices.

^^^ Yep same for me.

Like the blueflame but think for the daily commute it will be too loud and the milltek has bolt on tail pipes where the bolt is visible on the car I saw it on

i like the APR one but you can still see a massive silencerbox from te back of the car which puts me off, thought they'd of done one with a flatter bottom to it, or maybe bring out a deeper valance to hide it ?? the Milltek on my mk5 was drony on the motorway and as you say blueflame are quite loud aswell, still early ays for choices on the mk6

Very true about it being early days.

What we need is capristo to make a system for the Mk6 like they did for the R32 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CV-XzSo1if4

The Apr sounds nice. Just a few months ago, I am thinking about Milltek/VW Racing. Now there are just too many to pick!
Both Remus and Supersprint also do one for our cars! Akrapovic will probably be the lightest and loudest of them all!

Theres nothing that special there that most good engineering places or custom engineering/design place won't have from that video. Tig welders, pipe benders, cnc, flow jet only thing is missing would be rolling road and experience in gas flow of cause  (the important bits  ). The guy welding in that video is not the best, not bad, but not the best

I guess you are not into motorbikes
I like you will save 6.5kg in weight and sounds like a Ducati. What I don't like is they charge £££ for what is effective two straight pipes with a connecting pipe from the CAT!

TBH, if I hadn't known what I was supposed to be listening for, I doubt I would have noticed any difference. Makes the GTI sound slightly vulgar, IMO.

I find it funny when mk6 owners talk about saving weight.
