Anyone got a link of how to do a log on the MAF for an AUM?
Thanks :)
-
Go to
Engine, Measurements, Log Block 2 or 3 i think
-
Then start it and do a full throttle run in 3rd or pootle about then start it ad do a run?
-
003
yes start it and the 3rd or 4th gear from as low rpm as possible and floor it repeat a few times
-
So it'll save all the data from my drive but then I need to select which bits to analyse?
-
when you open the log up in excel your see 'throttle position' 'rpm' MAF specified' 'MAF actual'
compare what the specified is and the actual
-
I did 003 And 115
for MAF I got air mass in, throtle angle and ignition. Not the ones you suggest Steve

is yours a full version or just the shareware version Tim?

performing as it should by the looks of things mate
That's how Nick generates the power in the mid-range yet keeping the EGT gases down
The dip in power is there in the spec1 gen3 and 4 mapping to allow for the peak power without too much heat generation, The peak is a 1.3bar over shoot comming down to 16psi to make the quoted 210bhp, if the load is kept on full on in the midrange the car wont make 210bhp due to heat caused and the turbo working over time working against the crap oem dp/cat. If you try to push the midrange load too much you wont make the 210bhp mark. Get rid of the oem dp/cat and we can change the spec1 map to spec1.5 go go to to 220 with an extra 30bhp in the midrange by adding extra load on the midrange mapping. If you log the car above you will find the timing pull around 3-4 max and the boost where it should be part from around 150mb overshoot which has been setup in the N75 setpoint mapping. We can offer the map how the customer wants, if the car is at our workshop it will get strapped to the dyno for pre remap logging and testing, and at the same time se can alter the mapping to how the customer wants it but within a safe limit.
